Olâk - 2nd Runner Up - MultiFamily

The Olâk project in Granby, Canada consists of 20 apartments over five stories at a total size of 38,000 square feet. Built using IntegraSpec ICF, the building was designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility. The building is 65 feet wide and 50 feet high, with 28 corners per floor and a total of 145 door and window openings. By combining a 100% ICF building design with the Hambro D500 composite floor system and triple glass windows, the builders achieved very high levels of soundproofing and insulation. The project generated almost zero waste onsite. This multi-family ICF project is the tallest in the province of Quebec for 2021-2022. It allowed the team to meet several new promoters across America which resulted in a contract for the construction of seven more buildings using IntegraSpec.
