How to Make Graph Paper in Excel - Tutorial

Excel tutorial on how to make graph paper in Excel. We’ll make it so you can print the graphing paper if you like.

Having only borders on the spreadsheet does not create a grid sheet that you can print. In this tutorial, we'll go over how to add grids that can be used to create graphing paper that can be printed or used electronically.

Creating graph paper in Excel is great if, say, you only need a sheet or a few sheets of graphing paper. This way it's not necessary to buy an entire pack of graph paper when you only need a few sheets. Just make your own!

This seems like a really complicated way to do it! You could just select a bunch of cells (NOT the whole sheet) and apply borders, and it will print all the cells with borders.

To make the cells square just resize your rows and columns to be the same number of pixels. Use 'page break preview' view to see what you'll get. Add/remove/resize rows and columns until you get the layout you want.

I notice that after creating the table when I try to select a range of cells and then go to the letters and numbers it will highlight one row only and I don't see how you fixed the number of rows afterwords. I was wondering if you could help
