a few tips for the peeps who like to jam towards the front at shows:

- it gets really muddy -- not from rain but they often throw out open water bottles 😅 it's a mess but fun if you catch one. wear washable shoes!
- save screenshots of the showtimes and map cause you won't always have something nearby or phone service. and you'll probs want to plan ahead to get there early enough
- compressible water bottles or water backpacks are a necessity, carrying around a big bottle is annoying
- high fidelity ear plugs are a game changer (I have the Loop ones and they're great)

I had my phone pickpocketed at Perry’s in 2021. Go to lollapalooza but a Fanny Pack or anything with a zipper is a must for me! Thanks for the video, it was high quality!!

My biggest tip: wear close toed shoes!! even tho it's hot, do not like your toes get squished by the crowds

I'm binge-ing* tips and tricks since this will be my first time at Lollapalooza for NewJeans :D I really resonate with what you said about rather being at the back to have space to dance than being towards the front and possibly feeling squished or overheated. Do you feel that your view or overall experience is hindered by being behind the crowds or seeing the artist from further away?

This is my first year. I could only afford one day but I’m going Sunday so I’m really excited. Need all the tips I can get! I booked a room at the Congress Plaza Hotel… it’s walking distance and if it sucks…. Oh well cause I hope to spend the least amount of time in the room. UGH I’m so excited!!

hi i’m going to lollapalooza this year to see new jeans like many of the people in the comments lol and it’s only going to be me and my mom and sister who are going. we’re staying at a hotel 20 minutes walking distance to grant park, would you still recommend that we walk? i’m just a little scared since that’s a long walk and i would assume we’re walking back when it’s night time.

i just wanted to ask since you’ve been! also would bringing a shoulder purse be a good idea? or a lululemon belt bag?

Ughhh i really want to go to see New Jeans, Lana Del Rey, and Alex G but they are all on different days and tickets are so expensive. Plus I get super anxious in big crowds

Thanks for this video ! I’ve never been to the festival or Chicago ( I’ve only driven through Chicago ) I’m staying near Chinatown, so it’s the loop south area. I bought my tickets and lanyard April 15th and am waiting for them to get to me by mail, any idea when they usually mail them out? I’m coming in from Washington DC for Thirty Seconds to Mars on Friday! Do you know where in the park they might be playing or have information on how to find the actual schedule and set times ?

Be careful of pickpocketers for cell phones. Keep phones in front pockets or in fanny packs and make sure they are closed. Especially by the edm stage.

My boyfriend’s brother used to bury bottles and dr*gs a week or so ahead of the festival when he was underage bc he couldn’t buy alcohol so I think that’s more likely the demographic burying things lol
