BRICKLINK LEGO HAUL - 1K BRICKS FOR CITY, TRAINS AND TREE MOCs. I went a little nuts on my parts orders recently and this is the most exciting 3 as they'll help me start building trees and other MOCs. But, most importantly, another Hogwarts Express Upgrade I've been itching to make!

So yeah, these BrickLink LEGO orders come from all over the world, literally. The reason being - and I don't fully understand why yet - is that I got more bricks, for less including shipping, from overseas. That may be due to some parts not being readily available in Australia and therefore being higher. But it seemed odd.

These orders come from:

I'm very happy with just how much value I got here! Now to get cracking on all of those planned LEGO MOCs!

P.S. You may notice a plaster appear on one of the fingers on my left hand part way through. This is why you need to be very, very careful with knives!

Let me know what you think along with suggestions when you've finished watching the video and don’t forget to like it!

And if you haven't already, hit the subscribe button and turn on the "bell" to get the latest updates and see what I’ve been up to!

BrickLink can be like a drug for your ideas! I keep seeing parts and thinking what I could do with them. Next thing I know, they're in the basket and BOOM! Does that happy to you? Tell me if it does!

Ah...packages. The only thing more exciting than receiving packages is when you know they are from bricklink. You’ve got some nice parts there. Your train is going to be awesome 👍 And lots of handy city parts 👍👍 amazing that it is cheaper for them to come from half way around the world - shows what markup some sellers are making 👍👍😀

Never thought it'd be cheaper to get an overseas bricklink order. Will definitely look into it now, always bought from aussie Bricklink stores. Good to know. I'm way overdue for an order too.

Wauw - ordering alle the way from Denmark!? I would have thought the postage would be outrageous! Great pieces in there - love the grey fence pieces! They look really futuristic :-) And dark grey tiles are ALWAYS useful! Great haul - and good to have some good supervision on buying the minifig :-D Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work :-)

Ha, I also got a handful of bright light orange 1x2 bricks in a recent BrickLink order. I guess I should go ahead and order sand green bricks from overseas too, they're hard to come by locally in any other size than 1x2. Funny I mention these two colours, as I'm actually deciding between either one for my train carriage MOCs. I have two to build, and doing one of each is an option too! Unfortunately 1x1s and 1x4s are hard to come by in both of these colours, though.

Yes, there were parts I ordered from Australia because they were cheaper than locally.

That’s a big beautiful plaster on your thumb. Watching you handle that blade I’m surprised you have any digits left!

I do use BrickLink and, in the main, I find the sellers are pretty good. I have had dealings with a couple of morons, both U.K. based. They both failed to deal with complaints about orders properly. Thankfully, both were small orders. But, if you’re offering a service the least you can do is offer a good service!

I order from mainland Europe too. Shipping costs are pretty good, even compared to domestic prices. It’s when you look at ordering from the USA or further afield that postal prices get stupid.

Thankfully, the majority of my latest buys have been for single Fabuland figures, so I’ve gotten away with a couple of Euros.

Now, about that box cutter.... 🙂
