This stuff was difficult for us to machine as well. Especially I.D. threading. I ended up shutting off coolant before the threader and coating the surface with tapping fluid. This increased the tool life by 12x.

Точное станкостоение это именно то, что двигает технологии вперёд

Спасибо за вашу работу! Очень вдохновляет, и восстанавливает веру в человеческий инженерный талант. Что люди способны не только воевать, но и созидать..

Should try machining tantalum. Same size piece of material will weigh about 3 times that piece of super duplex. Tantalum is very gummy. Shreds and tears. Have to run it at very fast speeds to get a decent finish.

Love how the titans use UK Drill rap beats for their videos. Shits hard 💪

Very easy to machine.
Just need the correct tooling, speeds and feeds, and DOC got to be correct.
You can’t rush this stuff.
Hasteloy inconel etc are the same .
Get your speeds and feeds good, tooling and DOC, and Bobs your uncle.

What should I do to work here, to get to this point? I want to work here, it's literally art. It's great.

That's an arbor nose and base, the ones I use are two separate parts, nose and base, I wonder what kind of adhesive they use, we use 603

Welding this stuff to 316 8" schedule 80 pipe as we speak. Ours are from shawcore and the other side of gets a crimp. Magnetic just like steel. Eats carbide. But cheaper than 316

Warum per Hand die Maschine hat doch eine Gegenspindel?😢
Ansonsten kann ich bestätigen die Maschinen sind richtig geil.😊

I've always wondered what you guys do with the chips after a carve? Do you guys melt them back down yourselves or send them out somewhere to get melted back down into another block?

If you want to use the best inserts to maximise cutting parameters and insert life you need to roll into cut. Using that cam strategy is gonna kill your insert very very quickly
