1:06, Yes it happened to me in Honolulu when I was flying to Columbus via Washington Dulles last March, this time, even though I have carry on bag, I have to check in at the gate because the overhead bin is full and it was weird. My carry-on bag is in the cargo door because the overhead bin is full and I tell the United staff to tag my bag all the way to Columbus, not Washington because Columbus is my final destination and she did.

Good Vid - amazing one errant person can cause such commotion and delay. Weird that the person bought a ticket, boarded, then decided to leave. Having the plane checked was a good call by the pilot.
I experienced the same as you on checking in - I did it via lap top, and was able to pick a seat, then when I arrived at the airport to get my boarding pass printed, it put me back in the check in loop and I lost the seat I picked...grrrr! At least the new seat wasn't that bad.

That’s so cheap I paid 500 from LA to NY last year, considering my flight home was 1300 to Aus I thought that was expensive
