Frontex Multipurpose Maritime Operation exercise

Fighting cross-border crime, search and rescue, detecting marine pollution and illegal fishing, border surveillance - these are the key elements of our sea operations. Many of these were also part of a large exercise we held on the Black Sea together with Romanian and Bulgarian authorities on the 21-23 of July.
It included a simulated emergency medical evacuation during search and rescue and stopping a ship with drug smugglers on board.
