❤😊 Brilliant! great to you lightweight human assist vehicle. Back in 2000 I made a solar-powered wind powered buggy with a prototype but never actually managed to get it road legal ... It worked really well.. Have a try with pedals and I'm hoping to put some solar panels on it and I've got a small electric motor fitted 😊 Thank you....

great setup.. i also have a solar trailer for my recumbent trike.. (AZUB) i got the 170w 29v 5.83a SunPower Maxeon panel.. I had not thought about getting thru doorways and narrow access to bike paths.. but i was lucky that i can open the lid on the Zarges case the panel is attached to to shift it in a vertical position. So much to think about.. LOL I will be watching for updates on the new panels.. Cheers Rob USA

looks like a nice design - i might add some soft poly washers for more shock absorption but overall if you can get 25km/hr that is pretty ideal - you may be able to get faster speeds even for short hops around town which is the vast amount of the trips - park it outside. the design and underlying tech will only get better in the future

You can also use some Velcro to hold down your panels. Velcro is super strong, as long as the adhesive doesn't fail.

In the uk the gov likes to ban Tools ...and ignore the root issues ....

So i am opposite now in that i never blame tool or what a person rides only blame the person when they misuse that tool person riding sensible Considerate and reasonable then there no drama..i dont care if it a go-kart or jet engine bike ...it only issue when person riding wreckless and dangerous and then that to be careless and misusing tool ..

Truth is most people spend this much time and money building these bikes ....they dont misuse them ....they in fact ride more sensible and safe

Alex, where goes the poweroutput from the two genasuns out? do they meet before the wattmeter, so they are combined and go through the wattmeter and then to the battery? is there a switch before the genasun for each panel? because i´ve read that the panels must be wiched on first and then the battery for not damaging the genasun...? what do you think? regards Sven

I suscribed now, regardless your nasty blackadders (!). So how many maximum watts do your panels have? What hub motor are you using? I consider converting a HP Velotechnik Speedmachine with Rohloff gears to electric and maybe later add a solar roof.

250w is not a reasonable power for cargo ebikes is very frustrating since many delivery companies using cargo ebikes hauling twice the weight of even this solar bike and no one bats eyelid or says anything about the power ..
I have Electric Cargo bike and 250w simply aint a reasonable power ....

i use that term Reasonable ...Because the regulation is not reasonable and needs to be ....

Dont Obey Bad Laws ....Be reasonable considerate and sensible
