'Beat Your Feet!' Justin Timberlake Apologizes to DC Fans After Clumsy Dancing Goes Viral
After reuniting with Pharrell during his set at the Something in the Water music festival in Washington, DC, musician Justin Timberlake attempted an homage to ‘beat your feet’ dancing on June 18.
Video recorded by Matthew Coleman has since gone viral, with online users roasting the former NSYNC star after he attempted moves associated with the DC-born dance style.
Timberlake, 41, has since addressed the viral moment by saying on Instagram, “DC, I want to apologize for two reasons,” before panning down to his feet.
“Seeing JT was amazing and I truly love the confidence in his moves, but when he said, ‘DC, beat your feet,’ it all went downhill,” Coleman told Storyful. “What Justin did was not beating his feet in the slightest, and I had front-row seats to capture the moment.”
