That much for one bag of cat food? I'm pretty sure we can find you a cheaper alternative site to find that brand for less than that. The pet store I work at sells a lot of Royal Canin but I've never seen a bag worth $150.

Yuuup, it’s wild what pet allergies will do to them!
My orange tabby girl had a scare with her third eyelids not fully opening up when she’d open her eyes, I felt like a terrible cat parent when I looked back at my camera roll and discovered they’d been looking like that for 3-4 days by the time I noticed, so we IMMEDIATELY rushed her to an ER vet clinic in a town over from us and waited 6-8 hours to be told it wasn’t anything seriously wrong with her eyes (any infection, scratches, etc) so we went to her regular vet the next day, we put in an allergy panel, that took 2 weeks to get back to us. Turns out, the major reaction was to fish 😐 we had been giving them special wet foods to help the bond between all of them at meal times and it turns out we were unknowingly poisoning her 🫡

Her ENTIRE allergy list is mostly level 1s and 2s with a couple major level 3s-5s on the scale
Salmon, Beef, Rabbit, YEAST, Turkey, Venison, PEAS, buncha weeds, trees, and grasses (funnily enough, before getting the results, we had been debating a cat porch, glad we never did that 😂), HUMAN DANDER, and a handful of molds including penicillin..

Our special cat foods run us at LEAST $150 a month with the wet food and treats 😅 (the dry food alone is $45/15lbs which lasts our cats about 3 weeks)

Yo I also got ear infections in both my ears recently! Medication took the pain away but it still feels weird.
