PEER, SEAONC and the City of San Francisco team together to organize a seminar discussing performance-based earthquake engineering as it relates to the "Guidelines for Performance-Based Seismic Design of Tall Buildings" that were recently released by PEER. The first night of the seminar is an overview of the recommendations from the Guidelines and the second night provides an example application of the Guidelines on a couple of building case studies that were completed as a part of the Tall Buildings Initiative project.

This clip shows Jon Heintz of the Redwood City Applied Technology Council giving his presentation entitled "PEER/ATC-72-1 Modeling and Acceptance Criteria for Tall Buildings."
