I just adore catfish in general. Since I don't have room for Whiskey sized catfishes right now, I am keeping a large number (well, large to me, about 18-20) Corydoras of varying species. I've seen absolutely gorgeous catfish at the LFS, and some day... I'll have room for some larger species. Whiskey is just so beautiful, I adore him. Thank you for a great, informative spotlight on this gorgeous fish!

I have 2 spotted pictus, an angel and a 4 lined. Seriously my favorite species of catfish. My angel is the only one that hides. My other 3 are all loves and my 4 lined who named 3 eyes blind is a gentle monster. Hes ginormous, way larger then we expected haha

This tank is one that I'd happily replicate. Realistic options for big fish in a low-number community (2-5) is something I'm hoping to learn more about. I like my little guys in their jungle, but I like the personality of the big fish, too.

he is very cool, when I worked in a pet shop a looong time ago, we sold a lot of them because they were small and cute. wish we had video like this to show them.

Catfish are awesome fish! I had a bunch of them (from the past till now) and I liked most of them.. My favorites are the friendly ones (that doesnt bully other fish) but also those that interact with you / when they see you (come to the front glass)

Totally rescued four of these guys a ways back. Mine r mega timid and love there caves. But they’re the coolest cats ever. There barbells r insaanely long tho.
