Love the videos! We have a cub in a wheel chair so it can be challenging to come up with/adapt games to include all, Scout Scout Scout is a great one we can use, thank you!

My Scout group plays a game called "5 Chairs" so named because it's dodgeball with 5 Chairs on either side and much like your scatter ball when you're hit you go and stand on the chairs on the opposite side so your still involved if someone on your sides chairs catches a ball thrown by someone on your team who's still in then everyone on those chairs are back in. It is the favourite default game of our group and has resulted in many happy nights... and broken clocks.

Switch - it's a variation on 4 Corners. Start with one player at each of 4 corners (or chairs). A fifth person stands in the middle and is "It". All other players form a queue outside the play area. When "It" yells "Switch!", all players must leave their corner and find an empty corner. Meanwhile "It" steals a corner. Once the corners are taken, whoever is left is out, and goes to the back of the queue. The person at the front of the queue is now "It" and goes to the centre. The game moves quickly, so those waiting don't get bored or restless. Being out is less disappointing because they get back in the game soon enough, and everyone usually gets a break from running at some point.

One spring about a million years ago I helped organise a scavenger hunt for Cubs - go out in your sixes and collect objects for every letter, A, B, C, D.... Ten minutes later we were visited by the most irate gardner who had just had his crop of D-affodils, which he'd been waiting all winter for, decimated! Happy days!

Great stuff 👍 Thanks.
Back to the coal face tonight. We will be loosing two Cub leaders at half term so we are combining Cubs and Scouts until we get enough leaders. I go to India for three weeks starting 1st October just to make things worse! Any ideas 💡? Thanks

For the scout hall basketball, how do the scouts know where they can sit ? Or can they sort anywhere? If anywhere, is it a bit like musical chairs until they all fine a chair they like 😂
