[JOIN] Emotions&Feelings Contest - [AUDITIONS OPEN UNTIL 24/07]

Round 1 – Day 1 to Day 28

As said hotterhatter2211, the vidding community is dying these days. There’s still a few collabs and contests running but that’s it. I feel we should change that by launching new contests, such as this one I’m doing with Andreea (EternalxShadow) and Elise (borntobeweird).

Our idea is to make a contest only about emotions and feelings. Because that’s the point of vidding, isn’t it? Making people feel something while watching your videos? We want to create emotion, and we want to push people to create emotion.

This contest will have rounds and the first one is an elimination one.

Everyone has to do a video that represents an emotion. It can be any emotion, but just know that you’ll be marked on creativity so maybe choose an emotion more precise and “rare” such as determination or grief.

Also, emotions cannot be used twice, but you can use emotions that differs just a bit like fear and panic, or joy and relief.

Here are ideas of emotions you can pick: anger, desire, despair, passion, rage, excitement, melancholy, peace, hatred, determination, affection, fear, etc.

Auditions are open for eighteen days.

Rules:
Form: It can be of any live-action form: multicouples, multifandom, etc. Can be AU or crossover.
Length: minimum 30s, no maximum (of course, videos too long will bore the judges, so maybe you should do max 5min)
Quality: Has to be 720p/1080p
Title/Description: has to have the emotion’s name in the title + name of the contest + link to the contest in the description
Deadline: Day 1 to Day 21 (UPDATE: Deadline is 28/07 now)

Before Round 1 – PLEASE FILL OUT
- Name
- Age
- Program
- Skype (if you don’t have skype, it’s okay. But you have to have at least twitter so we can contact you)
- Emotion you want to represent

Tips: 1. Colorings and voiceovers are highly appreciated.
2. Videos that makes the judges cry (even cry of joy) will gain points.
3. The length isn’t important. You can work on a 30 seconds super-emotional video and win, or lose with a 3 minutes-long not-so emotional video.
4. Pick a song that is emotional and fits the emotion you chose

100-point scale:
Respect of the rules – 10 points
Creativity / Originality – 20 points
Quality of the video: is it well-edited? Can it be qualified a beautiful video? – 30 points
Emotion – 40 points
(+10 points for posting the video on your channel)
