If he doesn't like you enough or he's not planning to have anything serious it does not matter what you do or say to him. I think it's good to show our feelings and if we feel attraction by all means hint it in some way, but when it's the person for you it doesn't matter how you behave or what you say that he will like you for who you are.. and other times it doesn't matter how good you are that the wrong person won't care or won't see you.

Matt, you should do a video on cultural differences. I moved to South Korea a few months ago. Since last month, I’ve been dating an emotionally healthy, kind and physically attractive guy. Dating is so much easier in Asia. The men are open and honest about their feelings, and they are not held back by society’s ideas of masculinity. Most care about appearances, but they care more about their women’s feelings. This man tells me straight up what about me he is attracted to, and he asks me what I’m attracted to. We compliment each other whenever we have a date, and he points out attractive things I say and do.

I finally went on a date with a guy as just friends a couple of weeks ago after YEARS of not dating! I instantly knew I had had no chemistry with that man, and he annoyed me in every way possible! I think men and women can both learn to be a bit more forward about their intentions during a date, it's so easy to get caught up in good conversation without building that attraction and that comes from subtle or overt flirting.
