Canon EOS R vs Sony A7iii vs Fujifilm X-T3 Portraits (Side by Side) w/ Dagney

Here is my photoshoot with Dagney in Sacramento. I used Fujifilm X-T3, EOS R and A7iii for this photoshoot.

Thanks for your hard work! Which Canon lens did you use? 35L or 35L II? Honestly Canon’s jpeg surprised me in this video. I’m very familiar with Canon full frame SLR’s jpeg rendering - they are usually not as great as Fuji’s - that’s one of the reasons I switched. Maybe with EOS R they have changed their jpeg rendering?

thats a hard one to comment on.... the sony & canon Jpegs look overall the best... but for me what camera do you like to shoot with...? you can get good results with all of them ..

Wow! This video has convinced me to give the Fujifilm a serious look. I'm in the market for a new camera and have been debating between the A7iii, A6500, and Nikon Z6 (when it comes out). But these Fujifilm images look really stunning. It reminds me a lot of 35mm film.

Hi Xing! thanks so much for that job, seems really interesting! but there are few things that i found are not right. In stairs location you use canon and sony overexposing+1 while fuji underexposing -0.33, thats a huge difference.Also in canon(not sure in sony) use AWB, while in fuji personal WB. Also in FF use 35mm and 50mm equivalent in apsc, compression is also different, also bokeh, what can be confusing for people who doesn t see it, thinking that bokeh is even better in apsc.
As Fuji/Sony user, would think that is important to say that focusing is not the same in both systems when looking at 100x100, in sony is more precise, with much more datail, would be nice sometime to have a crop at full size to see differences in that way.
But anyway, love so much your effort, and more important is that seeing that video, you can see that any system is perfect and nice, doesn t really matter wich camera you use to get great results!
