I'll never forget being screamed at by a manager. The guy was straight-up bellowing at me on the phone so loudly his voice was distorted through the phone speaker. Not only did I tell that man to never ever shout at me again no matter what, but I made a formal complaint to HR and to his immediate supervisor. When complaining to HR, I used the phrase Hostile Workplace Atmosphere several times. That got them moving. HR could care less about me, I'm just a body with a pulse, but their jobs depend upon protecting the company from lawsuits. Within a month, the guy was fired. Insane for him to think he could get away with screaming at his employees. WTH.

I had an older lady I worked with that literally treated me like a kid.I remember at the end of the shift she called me from down the hall like a fucking dog, interrupting my conversation with a doctor about the patient. I was so pissed and even other people were uncomfortable but only one spoke up for me. Some people think they can treat their coworkers like children instead of equals and you’re just supposed to take that lying down. It’s ridiculous.

As a retired mechanic when the owners would yell at me I'd look around tell they would stop and say what ya looking at? I'd say that dog your scolding cause I know damn well your not talking to me. Cheers

I was talking to one of my managers on speaker phone, when I was at a customers location. And the manager started yelling at me. I said to him “ that I wasn’t one of his minions” and switched off the phone

No excuse for The Boss to yell like that, but The Veronika should have if anything CYAed by letting The Boss know, "Hey, *your* boss told me to hold off on this until they do whatever, so check with him/her if I don't get this to you when you want it.".
I learned long ago that CYAing myself saves me grief before it even happens.
