See how the Porlex Tall Manual Coffee Grinder works and makes a great travel coffee grinder for your next adventure, or simply grinding fresh coffee at home.

Love great coffee when you travel? The Porlex Tall Coffee Grinder is powerful, lightweight, and durable enough for any adventure. Manually powered, you’ll never be limited by batteries or electricity when you’re ready to grind coffee on the road.

The grinder’s ceramic conical burrs are rust resistant, encourage grind uniformity, and will remain sharp for years. Located directly under the burrs is the grind adjustment knob, which allows you to easily switch back and forth between settings for french press, espresso, and everything in between.

Basic Grind Setting Guide:
Extra Fine (Turkish) = 1 – 2 clicks
Fine (Espresso) = 3 – 4
Medium-Fine (Fine-Medium?) = 5 – 6
Medium (Filter) = 7 – 8
Medium-Coarse = 9 – 10
Coarse (French Press) = 11 – 12
The grinder’s stainless steel body is durable without being heavy. It’s slim and light enough to fit into any bag – no matter how light you pack – and dispels static so you don’t always have old grounds in the lower chamber. The grinding arm is improved for more comfortable grinding and the hopper has a capacity of 40g.

Take it with you across the world or down the street. Either way, it’ll grind your coffee with ease and consistency.

Great video thanks. I was just going to ask about the number of clicks it takes to get various grinds, but I found it on your site...

what holds the handle on while using it? Looks like it just "falls" off but pretty sure there's a trick to keep it on with good Japanese design like this....

Hey thanks for the video. Can I ask is it assumed the grinding process is 'done' when there's no resistance? As in, all of the grinds should fall through into the chamber once they're small enough?

Also, when tightening / loosening for different settings do you need to hold anything? I found on mine that the whole burr kinda moves as you twist (either way) so the clicks aren't automatic? It's brand new so just working things out here. Thanks

Hi, thanks for the video. Could you tell if this hand grinder is suitable for turkish coffee? Also, what hand grinders could you recommend for turkish coffee? Thank you

Great content guys, really enjoying the wealth of knowledge from all the videos.

Would this grinder be suitable for batch brewing, specifically a moccamaster. If so how many clicks would you recommend setting it up at ?

When you said clockwise/fine, the vid shows you're turning anti clockwise and vice versa

Fantastic grinder I got one myself. Can you rinse the whole lot under water to give it a quick clean or do you need to take the whole thing apart? Thanks!
