For 50 years I have played bass, Fender P bass, Fender Jazz bass deluxe, Music man Stingray, Steinberg, Rickenbacker. Ibanez, Cort. I bought a used Spector LX 5 Euro on Ebay, it was immaculate 2012 with not a mark on it. It was the most amazing bass I have ever played. So I went and bought a Spector Doug Wimbish 4 string as well also used and in incredible condition for a 2013 bass. The playability and comfort is amazing as well as the sound. All my previous basses are up for sale. A Spector is so well made is no wonder older ones still look as new.

Weird, I always find Spectors “hollow” sounding, except maybe vintage NS-2s and more recently the new LXs w/ Darkglass preamps
