If y'all ever wonder why the strongest creatures relative to their own size are always the smallest ones, it's because of the square cube law. This law states that when an object's size is scaled proportionally, the area increases by the square of the multiplier whilst the volume increases by the cube of the multiplier. If you have a cube that is 1 inch long, and you scale it up so that it is now 2 inches long, its area will increase from 6 in^2 to 24 in^2 and its volume increases from 1 in^3 to 8 in^3. Strength is a function of the cross sectional area of muscle. Weight is a function of volume. Because of this, the bigger a creature is, the less strength it has relative to it's size. This is why ants can carry 100x their own weight, humans can carry 1x their own weight, and elephants, while very strong, can only carry 0.25x their own weight.
