its a good habit to go thru your bike \system check ? right.. yes confidence is everything!.. so what pressure did you go with?

For some reason alot dealerships never do a proper prep job when you buy a bike. Always before you take delivery, inspect your bike. I would say about 80% of the time the tech "forgets" something. It could harmless has low tire pressure to, or like a friend of mine, very low oil! I have had screws missing to dead batteries. Never trust the so called techs dealerships hire. They are usual careless and dont care. Which is why I do the maintenance myself.

I know its old video but i just picked my ktm tpi one month ago and have same feeling about throttle hasitation like you do on 3:00. Did you solve that? Raising idle screw didnt worked for me. Just higher rpm and hasitation is still there. I'm not pro rider but it drives me crazy.

Hey guy, thanks for the maiden on the 300xc-w. I just purchased one a few days ago and your video gives me an idea of what I'll be dealing with. The only other KTM I had was a 450xc-w and it ran and worked great but was on the heavy side (especially when I dropped it) that's why when I had the opportunity to purchase the 300 I jumped on it. In about a week myself and few other guys will be testing it on some really technical stuff here in Texas and with any luck it won't take much to dial it in for my big butt. Anyway, thanks again for the info and video. P.S. Keep the vids coming I always learn something from other riders willing to share their experiences.

I think a dirt bike type motorcycle would be smart to buy as a trucker...if indrop it or whatever getting it up and off the back of the truck I won't hurt it... bigger I go heavier it is to lift up and down on a Simi that's a lot of work fyi

All dealers must do that with tire pressure, I just picked up an 18 xc and after 5 minutes in trail I went back to truck and checked and both mine were like 25 psi.
