It’s actually because Disney had a clause in their contracts that classic Disney princesses could not voice any other characters. The original princess, Snow White was only allowed to play that one role for her entire life. Nowadays the contracts are different, but Jodi benson was probably forced to not use her actual name in any project that wasn’t by Disney
