This route was the first and only one I did, it just made sense to me as a “least shit” option of the three, even if the negatives felt strange in their intensity.

I just wonder how Maxwell would have responded during the duel?

There's an extra scene before Roland leaves the party if you have Cordelia in your roster. It made his departure all the more heartbreaking.

Personally that battle with Exharme is my personal favorite for its story, drama and the battle itself. It just lines up great for me :)

For this route at least.

Fighting hierophant was quite daunting (second to fighting Avlora) cuz she pretty much force you to keep you tp low, especially she starts doing the one shot thing the second round
Luckily I used Corentin's ice shield to protect Medina from being one-shotted and use her two items to heal my team and recharge TP
But still half of my team perished in mid-fight and i barely kept the rest alive with Medina

I adore this ending it shows who benidict was as a character and everything it stood for yes I sucked to lose Roland and it leaves a sour taste in my mouth but it feels like you are doing everything you can to end in the best way benidict used you but only in good intentions to keep house wolfort strong and alive he has a selfish world view but a very heart breaking and honest one it’s depressing Roland leaving for made the most since of all of the routes he hated aefrost they killed most of his family and pretty much dethroned him and he has a right to be angry the choice of the three characters are genius (Fredrica is really the moral option but gives wolfort little benefit ) (benidict is liberty getting the best results even if you look past your morals)(Roland is revenge helping hyzante to defeat aefrost but sacrificing the few and the oppressed to do so) no route is right but they all depend on what you value I love this game and I adore all of it’s endings but benidict will always be my favorite

This feels like it would be the second best everyone kind of gets what they want ending. If the writers didn't feel the need throw out negatives that realistically don't make sense with your actions or the world they built. Why do we start with saying we eventually might over throw Gustadoph, and not get with his idea of freedom, if it happens anyway? Also the story nor does Frederica's route imply anyone really hates the Roselle outside of Hyzante. So this ending contradicts that even though the Roselle would still be a similar situation in the golden route.

Roland lost all my respect the moment he even suggested allying with Hyzante. He was quite an interesting character, to be honest. I feel like the writers wrote themselves in a corner when they decided to make three characters clash head to head for their convictions. It's like they forced "conflicts" between them, while there wasn't any need to. Out of the three routes, I feel like his is just a joke to all we fought for in the whole story. Siding with Hyzante just leaves a bad taste into my mouth.

So I’m back six months later and it still eludes me to no end. What is the exact song that plays when you fight Exharme for the last time on that field with his cavalry?

This path is best if you want to keep a balanced party as losing Roland won't impact your roster that much
