A walkthrough for printing a card or badge on an Epson L805 (or L800) printer using Epson R260 drivers and an aftermarket ID Card Tray. In the video I am using simple PVC cards, this will also work with NFC and RFID smart cards and access cards.

Hi Salian, thanks for the video! My only problem is that my Epson Artisan 50 with the 2 cards tray (identical as yours) when I print with photoshop using your template, there is a circle in the middle that doesn't print like for the whole in the middle of the CDs, also it doesn't print around the edges of my cards as it cuts the printing to a CD size printing with a circle around... Ant idea how to fix this?

Hi thank you for this video. Please help I keep getting an error. Ive installed R260 to same driver as L805. However I still keep getting this message "Attempting to connect to a different device specified in the driver. Check the driver settings and device. What can I do? Thanks

Very important to use the driver from the epson 230 printer to print on pvc card on the L805 (driver for the L805 will print a cd shape). It should be on the description.

i did everything as you said, gave same port for both printer.. but when i try to print epson status monitor shows error different device from specified... tried uninstalling and reinstalling of both printer drivers.. pls help😪😪😪😪

Hi, what ink do you use? I tried printing on my card (glossy finish) and the ink smudged. I use inkjet that comes with the epson printer

Nice to greet you sr. I have problems with the colors, I use the r290 the colors come out opaque, I have the right card, but the gray colors come out greenish and I don't like them, my monitor is a current dell ips. Any solution?

Worked like a gem on windows, but I currently use mac, any idea how to use on that ? Unable to manipulate drivers on mac, like we do on windows.. not even in emulators / parallels
