Interesting how DIY is considered luxury, when most folks DIY specifically because of poverty.

Wonder what luxuries these big company owners spent their billions of releif on. They always take a magnifying glass to working class citizens, but turn their heads when it comes to ridiculous amounts of money going to companies that don't need it.

I was wondering why I was sitting at my computer all day buying expensive stuff I don't need on Amazon. But I am making my own artisan bread, my own Belgium luxury chocolates, brewing my own wine, re-decorating every room, new kitchen appliances, photographing every flower in my garden and making framed prints, cooking gourmet meals like Heston/Master Chef, making olive oil infusions with home grown herbs, growing my own tomatoes, potatoes, carrots and grapes, practicing lock picking with a set I got on Amazon, doing courses on Master and all without leaving the house and garden since March 2020. I just need to learn how to cut my own hair and get out of these pajamas.

Fucking right, I bought a few bottles of scotch and boxes of cigars with mostly government money. And I've started to learn oil painting.

DIY, because we stay at home more and can do home improvement. But overall I think there is a tendency to save up now, since we realized that a sudden stop in income is possible even if we think that we have a stable job.

We’re buying expensive booze because we might all die, so we’d rather die having drunk expensive champagne rather than the gas station hooch we usually drown our financial fears in.

Cooking at home is luxury DIY? Tell that to Warren Buffet. Buying up Kroger cause that's where everyone is about to be fucking shopping.

Just when I realized mixing coke, coffee, and wine together is a good idea for a drink.

I mean if anything good came out of this (for me) is that I'm no longer eating out as much? I literally look up cooking recipes and make them with my husband, which is cool.
(Mom never taught me to cook much so I've cooked alot during this pandemic and am extremely proud of myself)

DIY and pets as companions is a growing area. House proud people working from home buying item's to make their space more comfortable. I like the Aboriginal artwork in the background also Scott.
