A pretty incredible story, and what a heartbreaker! What are you guys looking forward to the most during the 2021 deer season?

The biology of the whitetail deer astounds me more than the hunt sometimes and that’s why most hunters enjoy it and don’t even know…. to be in nature and view it undisturbed and be a fly on the wall is something magical and we all need to protect that for future generations

It's actually the way nature intended. They passed on their heritage through breeding, died in battle and their meat sustained other wild animals. Icing on the cake, you retrieved their antlers to further their legacy. Fellow hunter here, so don't hate on me.

:'( my heart goes out for Drury outdoors for the loss of those mega giants. No telling what they would have blowed up into the following year. I'm sorry for the loss of two awsome bucks.

I found two 150-160" deer locked together in a pond when I was bass fishing. It was a little surreal because we had watched them from the time they were born until they were found 4.5 years later. We only have 62 acres and were surprised they made it that long.

Heartbreaker for two majestic bucks to go down that way.

While I know its nature and all to common, it really breaks my heart when two beautiful animals meet their end this way. Very slow and violent death. I bet Wade said either out loud or in his head. "Why couldnt you have kept coming" and not more because he wanted him on the wall but because if teardrop did come in range of Wade's bow it would have spared the life of one of those bucks and gave the other a much more humane death. Man it really is a sad story but I enjoyed y'all sharing it.

I mean that's a bummer and all... but atleast you got a story behind him, granted you didn't harvest him, but you got the story and nature had its way. And you got 2 cool racks out of it! How neat!

You boys already have it on lock but that 4.5 you passed is gonna riddle your gene pool with so many good deer
The body on that second buck is crazy you know who’s the boss around no matter the rack size

Hey in Wisconsin about February of 2020 there was a 253in whitetail found locked up while shed hunting has well and I think the buck he was locked up with was about 180+in as well
