Let's Play Oddsparks. Oddsparks Gameplay.

In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure, the Steam Next Fest demo. This game is an adventure and base building game with automation mechanics with Factorio like vibe. You control your character and do quests around town in a top down view. Interact with various charming town folks to discover the mysteries related to the Ancient Shrines and Sparks. It also has that Sandrock, Fae Farm and Stardew Valley like vibe to it. The most interesting mechanic is the creation of minions called Sparks, that you can use to automate your crafting tasks and setup production lines, deliver resources and products to feed into another crafting workstation. The Sparks can be setup to follow you around like an arm where you can launch them into combat to fight for you or gather resources for you. I definitely enjoyed playing this game and recommend it! It's a unique fun experience. It makes you feel like you're Felonius Gru and having Minions following you around and doing your all chores. Check out the demo for yourself and Wishlist it!

Thanks for this one. It's like Pikmin meets Factorio. Looking forward to its release. I imagined those spider bunnies hunting the sparks and growing more powerful the more they ate... but they seem pretty harmless.

Notes for future play/replay...
Sparks are slow. Keep paths short and connects paths together with crates.
If your path is a loop, then you can have sparks going both directions( inside and outside), thus double the item throughput.
Crate into and out of all workshops/shrines, short loop ~2x2 paths being best for multiples of pairs of sparks going opposite directions around the loop. Connect between crates(, i.e. transfer paths, ) or to/from crates and buildings/shrines(, feed/discharge paths).
If path is between buildings then have sparks in multiples of needed items for downstream building needs.
