The people who say this doesn’t fit the album are pretty oblivious to both the fact that it comes right after someone’s mind is scrambled by electricity and can’t understand who they are anymore

Sounds like some sort of mental disorder caused by an abusive relationship to me.
"Imaginary lines": the maze is imagined.
"Let the maze of my design carry you on": her interactions with him impacted his thought processes and created the labyrinth in his head.
"See how I fly away": the ex isn't part of his life anymore.
"It's just a game you play here in this labyrinth": this is her saying he's mentally running in circles on purpose. It's all in his head, he can stop whenever he wants to. Mental disorders can absolutely feel this way to those suffering from them (I have some, myself), and the people around them can make this seem even more true. So, the mental disorder feels like a _moral failing, _ rather than a health problem.
