This is interesting, but those are not Tesla coils. Those are Sir Oliver Lodge coils.A tesla coil transforms the electricity from DC to longitudinal cold impulses. There is a transformative process that the energy undergoes in a spark gap when it is interrupted over 15, 000 times a second, and the more you interrupt it, the higher the energy output.Tesla was interrupting his circuits at millions of times a second, and using very large coils to get a low frequency harmonic. That is what a true tesla coil is. Lodge coils are only amusing to look at, real Tesla coils are beneficial in many ways, including excess output power that brings the COP to over 1.
