my family and i came down to carova beach (it's in the outer banks, near kittyhawk) for a vacation and had watched this last night. carova is only accessible with 4x4 cars on the beach, and it has beautiful swamp-like scenery around it. the whole place feels so secluded and gorgeous, you can tell why Kya liked the place so much-
