I think this peice of music is, without a doubt, is ABSOLUTELY exceptional! I used to play a trumpet in Grimethorpe Colliery band, as a junior, it's great know that listening to a brass band, gives people (or some), great pleasure.
I may come across as biased, because that's where used to live & maybe I am!? That's for you to decide!?
Remember this though, bef6you makes any comment about Grimethorpe & it's brass ba6 or any other mining community that was was shut down & the effect that this 'lockdown....

Fantastic performance of a wonderful piece and special mention to the young man performing the solo - Excellent work, young man.
Post Brexit, I'm no longer sure what being British means if I'm honest.
I was brought up to believe that we were a caring nation who didn't judge and were happy to get on with our lot and not hate others unnecessarily.
I'm starting to think I was mistaken....
But stuff like this makes me feel proud to be British again.
