If my opponent bets on the flop and checks on the turn I would "always" make a bet on the river with a strong hand. Checking on the river is fine if your opponent made a second bet on the turn.

Slow play and slow roll are two different things. Slow play is normal in big hands. Slow rolls will get you throat punched

I tilted an entire table right before taking my seat by saying listen if im in the hand and your money is in the pot you might as well consider it mine because i will take it. I proceeded to win every hand i played and after everyone lost most of their money one guy got pissed and the dealer said dont be mad he warned you. The dealer even complimented me for tilting the table by saying she had never seen anyone do that before.
