I missed the first version and picked up the second. I rave about and recommend it all the time for a travel and neutral palette. I didn't even know about this one! It looks interesting! I'm not sure I need another pink-toned neutral palette though. As always, great review! 💗

I had to return this palette and I rarely return anything! The eyeshadows made my eyes itch and the blush and topper actually blistered my skin. I have never had that happen before.

I think companies should put up at least 2 versions of those types of palettes to be really inclusive. If a palette has only one blush/highlight it can’t be suited to all skin tones. The people who are on both far ends of the range will never enjoy all shades included on the palette and speaking for myself, if it has too many dark shades I won’t buy it just to get use out of a few shades. I guess someone with a darker skin tone won’t appreciate too many light shades either...

Pretty palette, I just can’t fathom spending $30 on this when I have most of these shades from colourpop 😕

It's interesting to see how different this palette is in real life than the photos at Ulta. It looks like a vibrant berry mauve in pictures but so blah neutral in real life.

This is kind of cute! I still bring the original Maneater palette with me whenever I travel- to pair with colorful shades. Without fail, I get snarky comments about the packaging, haha! It's cheesy and a little vanilla (get it?), but so dependable.

I too have been reviving my love for my Tarte palette collection recently. Last week I wore the Buried Treasure palette when I wore makeup and for next week I've got out the Make Magic Happen palette.
I did wear the original Maneater palette too a couple of weeks back after Stephanie Msrie posted it in her palette tag. I have the original palette, she has the vol.2 version. I almost bought the vol.2 because I thought it was different.
I think I'll probs pass on this palette though.

I got one version of the man eater palette (with the black) that was so dry and patchy. But the 3rd one with the blush is intriguing me!

I think these cheek colors/this look is very flattering on you (don't think you need more "intensity" in cheek color). :-)
