I’m interested because I love Klein tools. I currently have the fish n pull. Very similar, same concept snaking tool. Works well. The part that goes in the wall looks about the same size. The fish and pull can mar newly painted walls. Not bad but under close inspection, it is noticeable. The Klein has wheels which could be a plus. I work in residential homes and I have to be very conscious of a customers walls and belongings. It looks well designed and it’s always good to have another back up tool. I’m going to buy and will do a comparison and review.

What’s the width measurement of the lead? What size hole would need to be drilled if fishing through top studs?

How do this work for regular outlet cords? Is it possible?

I’m hoping to use this or something similar to fish TV wires behind a wall. With regular fish tape it snags onto insulation

It's all lie. At 0:08 a guy drops magnetic lead down and does not stick to metal stud. It might work wood framing, but no way with Metal framing.

I don't imagine this tool would be anymore useful than the current standard for fishing wires. I'll add to the other potential problems other comments suggest.

Let's say you're pulling down a wall that's had patchwork. If the mud wall is too thin you'd run the risk of cracking the paint if the magnet is too strong.
