I have never heard a song before that so accurately knows me and my life. It feels like love and loss and hope and pain all at once. Like someone holding me while I’m crying and telling me it’s going to be ok. This by far is now my favorite song and always will be.

This song is too beautiful. And damn I relate so much. My family is broken into a thousand pieces. They’re toxic and angry and I found love in someone whose family is so supportive and strong. And my family hasn’t been supportive at all. I get to move out after I graduate and have a new beginning but also an end to the heartbreak I’ve endured all these years. I used to feel bad for my partner that he had to deal with my family. This song is just a reminder that even though family is forever I can always have my own. I love it.

This song remind me so much about Sirius Black from Harry Potter. Not only the main lyrics, the tiny details like:

“ and you’re trying to lift of the ground on those old two wheels ” -referring to his flying motorbike.

“You framed all your posters and dyed your clothes” -describing how Sirius rebel to his parents by hanging muggle posters.

“ I don’t believe that time will change your mind “ - how Sirius never accept his parents awful beliefs even for such a long time.

This is making me cry.
