Brian Van Corners Low at Barber Motorsports Park with the Garmin VIRB 360° Action Camera

Van finished his 2017 riding season with SportbikeTrackTime at Barber Motorsports Park in November and used the Garmin VIRB 360° Action Camera to shoot a little video. This camera offers a full software suite you can use to edit your own 360° videos taking them to the next level.

The VIRB took a little creativity to mount on the bike as it does not currently offer any motorsport specific mounts. Van mounted it on the top triple of the STG R1 for it's last ride (yep it is for sale if you need a new track bike) at Barber with STT in the fall of 2017. Video Steve was able to put the track map and lean angle (recorded by the camera) on this 360 degree video using the Garmin software.

Brain great laps. I love Barber you can carry a little more into turn 1 keeping to the right like you were. Awesome laps otherwise, great pace and very consistant on your turn in. missed 1 @ turn 5 after the pass went wide. I have been on Barber many times. I've gone down @ 5 also and been in the gravel trap in turn 1 I was going to fast. Man I miss Barber on my 2004 Aprilia RSVR track bike.I saw roughly a 1:37 lap.. that's roughly where I was a few years ago 1:35/1:40 very nice laps VAN R1 right man those bikes are smooth....

love the camera but good dam hat price tag on it is ridiculous

Now for the obvious if you full screen it and then turn the view towards the right side you will see half the brake res blurring and cutting out and then see the triple tree its not perfect and not in my opinion a true 360
