'Easy Rider' bike sells for $1.35 million

The 'Captain America' Harley-Davidson featured in the 1969 film 'Easy Rider' was auctioned off for $1.35 million, making it one of the most expensive choppers ever sold.

Somebody got screwed of they really paid 1.35 mil for this copy. EVERYBODY knows what happened to the original 4 bikes, and this ain't one of them.

Parts from 11 bikes were stolen from a garage and they were not cut up and worn by Hells Angels. Fonda has told many times that he knew all of them back then from acting gigs. This is fake news, complete bullshit and there is no bike remaining.

Bogus False- Every biker knows the Captain & Billy Bike were stolen during the shoot of the film . Look at the last camp out scene "We Blew It" scene. NO BIKES because they were ripped off & probably torn down for parts. The spare Capt was used for the crash scene.

Reports were this guy bought the smashed Capt America from Grizzly Adams and rebuilt it, so now even Peter Fonda has doubts about this bike, definitely not worth $1.35M even if it was the bike.

Well who made the captain America bike for the film Easy Rider 2. I sat on it and got my picture taken with it also Sheree Julienne Wilson standing next to me Funny talked her awhile didnt know who she was till later. She was friendly, Look alike of Peter Fond was Freaky. I wonder if this is the one Dan Haggerty Built. Ah that Man was so Cool.

The bike is a joke, difficult to handle over long trips, your arms tire too easy, and its very uncomfortable. I have a 1200 sportster, not chopped its a honey and I took it cross country, I can only ride no more than 400 miles but I still have to stop every 100 to stretch my legs. The bike on top would not take me anywhere near that distance because my arms would give out. It looks comfy but believe me its not a cruiser and never will be! Who ever brought this bike has more money than brains.
