Il never forget Cros I met him in the early 1980s in Lew Starret Dallas County Jail while I was in there for 1 stinking joint . I was named as a trustee serving food to the other prisoners . They kept Cros in solitary . I heard he was in there and got to know him serving food to him three times a day for 3 months . They wouldnt let him have his guitar and I allways cheered him up a little . He was such a kind man and I wish I could have hooked up with him . After my stint in DCJ I often thought of him and would listen to his music dreaming Id see my old friend again but it never happened because we lost track him being a famous musician but his inspiration helped me get my shit together and I would play my Martin guitar I was gifted as a child from my mother often playing Crosby Stills and Nash songs . Love yall brother Cros Rest In Peace as the Southern Cross Sails Again .

I'm a Gen X'er, almost 50 now. I always loved classic rock, folk music etc... Even before becoming a teen I loved the music mostly from the 40's on up, because of my Mom's extensive record collection. Back in my youth. Of course before the net and life was nowhere as fast-paced as it is these days. Back when listening to the radio was the best. I recall being a little feller before my teens with my little radio shack am/fm radio my Great Grandma gave to me for a birthday or something. I used to listen to it when it was my bedtime and I'd be listening to it until I couldn't stay up anymore. The memory that immediately pops in my head thinking about the early eighties, is me just going through the stations when I stopped on Chicago's premier rock station at the time called "The Loop FM.98. ///. A great track by Billy Squire came on and blew me away. Decades later I still remember that night listening to my little hand held radio enjoying the my music. RIP to the Great legendary artist David Crosby. He was just the coolest, he seemed laid back most of the videos I've seen with him.

Crosby can still bring it. He's passing it on to the next generation.

Man, what a flashback. Being a lefty from the '60s this brings back all of the dreams and hopes from that time of my life.

Whatever Crosby's personal shortcoming are and there's plenty of them, musically he has been more productive, more relevant and more daring than his former three partners combined over the past decade. I admire the fact that he's still searching musically and taking songs like this and turning it into something unique. That takes balls.

This is as beautiful as anything David has been involved in over the years. And that is saying something! The album "Here If You Listen" is a stunning collaboration of youth and experience. A Masterpiece.

All the old guard must pass the torch, again and again. Like waves on the shore. The landmass changes shape slowly. We must always be pushing to make the world more just and loving. We are succeeding century by century.

Have had my issues with the Croz the last few years, mostly over covid policy and we have had words with each other on twitter, but I've never questioned his artistic gift to humanity. If this doesn't move you to tears, nothing will.

I just got home from seeing them perform this in Madison, WI with my husband and sons (huge Snarky Puppy fans). Go see them if you can! David's voice is still pitch perfect and the harmonies, with hints of CSNY, will give you goosebumps. Truly talented musicians.
