Being aware and seeing the problems is the first step in naturally solving the problem on your own.
People reach out for help for many reasons mostly cause they feel uncomfortable/uneasy and are desperate for change but don’t know how to change because they are not aware of the issue/cause.

Yeah this is so true. For many years i was a self help Youtube-junkie. Thinking my problems would go away if i just got the right information. I think its god to know a bit of once problem, but also important to have a strategy to solve it and constantly taking actions as well

This is the problem with old school therapy too. The whole you need to find the root to your problems fallacy. Sometimes there is no root.

For example; I am largely disillusioned from most of my family and I don’t have much contact from them. There’s a couple I really want to get back in touch with and talk to more, but I’m afraid to. They haven’t earned it, but I know why I have this bad impression, but that’s on my side.
I fully UNDERSTAND this problem, but it’s still here.
The solution would be to do the hard thing and actually reach out to my brother and reconnect, solving the problem of that lost connection.

Understanding is half the battle. You don't know what to battle unless you have something to face.

And no matter how much you understand it, actually changing your behaviour and doing something different will always feel like you're "going in blind". There's a difference between congnitive knowledge and belief and its the beliefs you want to get at, so you need to FEEL and then challenge how you feel with action and thought, back and forth, over and over.

This point in action is enough to change our life. That's it.
