If you can get concerts on DVD, get them. The audio is super well done on them. Its like a SACD with pictures. They are the ONLY DVD's I will pick up at estate sales or garage sales.

These orbit shifter you experienced are the orbit shifter LFU models not the pro’s you were giving specs to, the LFU were theater models tuned to around 20hz, I just wanted to clear that up … before the “37 hertz that’s terrible for home theater” guys came in

Great video Jordan. I appreciate how much you covered with very limited time. Sorry we were still setting up and preparing for the Halloween party (should have cleaned the projector first LOL) but still a lot of fun hanging out with you guys. Yes the Orbit Shifter LFU is the HT version of the OS and tuned to 22hz with 134dB output. Also the system was set so that when the volume on the XMC-1 is at 0dB you're actually at about +10dB over referemce at 1khz and the base curve was an additional +20-25dB at 20-50hz depending on the demo. People seemed interested in the rear channels for the 5.1 so just a little infor there, both L&R side surround are running two JTR slanted 8. The reason I originally did that was two fold. One was to bring the sensitivity up so they can keep up with the mains and the other was to give the second row more surround. The effect we are getting with sound seems to be that, plus the processing and room acoustic. I have to admit that was not expected when we designed it but a nice bonus on how it turned out Again great meeting you and hanging out. You're welcome to come over anytime your in the area.

Too bad jeff at jtr doesnt make any surrounds with 8 inch drivers no more. He needs to bring those back.
