Design looks very neat but I don't fancy those capacitive buttons. Come on manufacturers there's nothing wrong with buttons.

Just wanted to say that I really enjoy your style for car reviews.
Calm, well spoken and informative, yet never boring. Keep up the good work, man! :)

Was really excited about this right up until you showed the centre console.

I will never understand how companies can think it's safe to replace physical buttons with a touchscreen - it's so dangerous, especially when, like on this car, it forces you to look all the way down to see what's happening!

I think it would sell well over seas.
It could possibly even sell well in the US but only if they give it a different name.

It's cool to see the progress on EV's, but i'd like to see a sucessor for the Focus. I don't like the way an SUV drives

Well done Ford/Germany (good review too). I like the seats, and the flex position able Sync Info-system, both very good at first look. Now we know what sits between Kuga and Mach-E

Car manufactures seriously need to stop overdoing it with haptic and touch buttons. Please return to simple, functional and much safer physical buttons and dials!

It's ironic that these companies gather together to make a single platform that'll make cars cheaper. Then they seemingly share different knobs and buttons in the car. All for the sake of saving money.
So now I'm thinking, _"If these companies are saving all this money by joining forces and generally speaking EV motors are cheaper to build than "engines" and that all these electronics are cheaper to make that the old style push buttons and pull knobs... How come EV's are do damn well more expensive when compared to "engine" powered vehicles?"_ 8-\\...

So they've discontinued two of the most popular selling cars EVER for this! A cost saving exercise for Ford by using a vw platform, but WAY more money for the traditional fiesta buyer! That's one way to ruin your business then!!

Its a mini Explorer. How cute. 250 miles of range feels a bit low. These companies really should work to get all their vehicles above 300 miles of range. I feel like that is the magic number for reducing if not removing range anxiety.

Looks nice but it's certainly smaller than the older gas models.

The screen hinge feels like it is going to be the number 1 thing needing fixing/replacing.

What a "Flex" ? You mean a Ford FLEX!

Is it me or does it look like a Land Rover Discovery?

Car companies needs to understand that no physical buttons thing is a deal-breaker. I just want to set my AC temperature without diverting my eyes from the road, man:(

I think this will sell very well. Right size for the model y generation and the tech underneath is fine. What is it with the buttons ! Even VW decided to get rid of them in the new EV Polo, so I assume that by the time it appears, it will have switched over to those.
The puma replacement will be a bigger seller I think, just as popular but less competition in the segment right now.
Buttons aside, I like it. It's alright.

What I was scared of when we knew the car was coming was the possibility that it'd use VW infotainment and interior like the current Transit Connect does (VW Caddy) but thank the heavens, it's a mostly Ford interior with just the important drivey bits that are VW. Highly approve, like the styling too.

The problem with the screen is even in the upper position the screen is still too low as it causes your eyes to look down. It should have a twist feature to put the screen in landscape position and the top of the screen should be right at the bottom of the dash so you would only have to slightly look down away from the road to use the screen

Great video, Rory! Can't wait for you to actually drive it and tell us how it feels. I do actually like the design, both exterior and interior, but those touch buttons on the steering wheel and especially the window button solution from VW ID cars need to go. Can't believe that someone could possibly think that is a good solution.
