Scientists said they can now distinguish between human-induced weather patterns from naturally occurring events. CBS News meteorologist and climate specialist Jeff Berardelli and Washington Post climate reporter Andrew Freedman joined CBSN to discuss the significance of this advancement in monitoring climate change.

Expecting the older people to care about the younger generation has become a lost cause. There is no truth about worry for grandchildren when politicians talk about these issues. It’s up to the young to change this and champion their own cause as the older generation don’t really care, believing they will take something with them to their grave.

Young people have to decide if they want to continue buying and using fossil fuels or start walking, using public transportation and riding bicycles.

Young people have to decide if it’s worth keeping up with a trend or being content they have enough.

Young people have to decide if wars are worth fighting and not let “boomers” decide their futures.

Old people are one trick ponies and fear change. If young people don’t want what’s going on then young people are the ones that have to change the system.

Earth has warmed and cooled thousands of times over its 4 Billion year history. Solar flares and the earth’s wobbly axis plays a huge role. The same Australian fires and weather pattern happened in 1900! It’s been much warmer and much cooler in the last 450, 000 years according to NOAA charts.

How many times are they going to make this announcement. The first time I saw them make this claim was in the 1970's. So far nothing definitive had popped up. Everything they are saying is the same thing that they said in the 1980's.
