Karabakh president joins mass rallies against blockade

📍Nagorno-Karabakh President Arayik Harutyunyan joined a sit-in in Stepanakert to demand Azerbaijan lift its seven-month blockade of the region.
📍The road connecting Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan via Agdam is closed, police said, as local residents gathered to set up a preemptive roadblock.
📍Armenian singer Masha Mnjoyan triumphed at this year’s Slavic Bazaar music festival in Belarus.
📍Armenian Deputy Education Minister Ara Khzmalyan was elected to serve as the next director of Yerevan’s Matenadaran museum and research institute.

The reason Artsakh is in this existential threat today is because of the stupid decision to create an Artsakh Republic, a country which was never going to be recognised internationaly and was too small and poor, partly because of the corruption and lack of intelligence if its Republic of Artsakh government to create a viable state. They should have joined Armenia in 1990s and created a defendable border and updated it's military. Too late now unfortunately.
