I bricked by Poco F1 after flashing a rom, had no access to either fastboot mode or to recovery mode. Poco F1 was only booting into EDL mode. I finally did manage to unbrick and revive the device, after paying for EDL mode service. In this video I share my experience about Poco F1 EDL mode service.

Around 10 minutes. I had already downloaded and extracted fastboot rom.
*Who put the phone in EDL mode?*
I did.
*Why not go to service center?*
Because dont want to risk Covid exposure for fixing a phone.

Same problem occured with me 1 week back now the poco f1 is in a corner somewhere and commenting this on my iphone 11😂 just a tip:- install flash roms at your own risk because theres always a chance of getting your phone bricked. So always think before doing that whether its necessary. AND also do it with proper knowledge

Great video bro... Congratulations u dont have to buy new poco again... 🙈.. first time when i rooted i wiped system while flashing kernel and got into softbrick and was worried for whole day... I can fell how heart broken you would be .. congratulations for overcoming issues like this and teaching us how to tackle it if it hapoens to us... 😍

Few days back my poco had an issue where it keeps restarting constant. I found out the issue was the power/ volume flex cable. So I ordered a new one. Fast forward to today. I got the parcel this morning. Immediately went and grabbed my poco to fix it. I was so excited to pry the old one out and fix the new one, but somehow careless took a chip off the board alongside with the old flex button's. IDK what to do so I just put my poco in a box. It doesn't turn on but the charge light comes on when I plug it in🤦‍♂️

I was in similar situation when I bricked my redmi note 7 pro but luckily i got a modified version of mi unlock tool I unlocked the bootloader using it without even connecting to internet and flashed a fastboot rom then.

I had this same issue, took it to service centre
They fixed it without any charges coz it was under warranty.

I also encountered this problem back in January but when i go to two service centre they say that have to change motherboard for around (9k) but finally when i goto my hometown service center they solved it in 15 minutes.

I bricked my phone 4 months ago tried to flash official miui. I read somewhere xiaomi has antiroll back policy which removes fastboot and recovery if you flash using custom rexovery. Since then I have never flashed official miui on my phone you will be fine if you don't flash official miui recovery ROM miui 11 ROMs to be precise
