Thirty years ago I used to work for a company that maintained aircraft for the U.S. Army. I used to watch our test pilots fly like this for real all weekend long. All of our test pilots were old Vietnam era pilots with tons of experience.

Cool. This and the Blackhawk one. In a nerd note, it is interesting to see how both aircraft behave differently: the BlackHawk has less inertia, so moves in a more dramatic, aerobatic way, resulting in a more pronounced swing. On the other hand, the Apache has more inertia, just wants to stop the curve earlier, less pronounced maneuver. It only shows the skill of the pilot, bringing both to landing in the right spot, although they being very different aircraft. Anyway, DCS never ceases to amaze me.

TUTORIAL PLEASE! Unless it’s the same concept as the Black Hawk. I foresee this being much more difficult in the Apache as it is much less forgiving that then Black Hawk.
