I’m currently in the middle of a no weapon and no throwing weapon challenge run on a new profile. The grab->axe kick->sp. jump kick combo looks sick and I can’t wait to try it.

I’ve discovered:

Dashing ⏩️ right after a 👊⬅️ back strike (whether unarmed or knife / sticks moveset) or other moves like 🦶↘️ can put you in a good position for a grab while they are stumbling backwards. The good thing about going for a back- throw is that if you’re just barely out of range or mess up the timing, you might get a nice 👊⬅️ hit anyway, and even on block it often lets you grab them right afterwards.

Monk set magic is amazing for chaining grabs, and a stun enchant lets you immobilize them twice per cast. It only takes 2 grabs and 1-2 more hits to recharge your magic.

On impossible difficulty, prioritize moves with higher base damage overall, and try to land the strongest strikes when the opponent is on the ground or coming up. Slower moves doesn’t always equal more damage. Different weapons have different moves that might vary in speed, range and effectiveness, so a high damaging move on paper might be trash on a specific weapon in an actual match. Try to find the best moves for your weapon in terms of base damage and effectiveness, and learn how to chain hits into and out of grabs.

Throws have the highest damage of any moves at 35, but other good ones are 🦶↘️ at 20, 👊⬅️ at 18 (and quick), 🦶⬆️ at 15 (and safe), 🦶x2⬆️ at 24 (12+12 if both hit). The kick combo in the video is good since it deals 27 (12+15) base damage and looks pretty consistent. 👊x2➡️ moves often deal a bunch of hits that add up, even unarmed comes out at 27 damage (13+14).

And one more thing is to learn from your enemy. Im gonna put some moves i learned. When cornered you can just repeatedly press 🦵 (that does not mean spamming like hell) when get hit your enemy will recover and then use 🦵again then repeat until the wall jumps. When your enemy wall jumps, you can simply do ↗️🦵and when your enemy starts to recover do ↘️🦵🦵, it looks stylish tho. Also when using fist weapons (like knuckles and pnuemo fist) press 👊 and when your enemy is stunned quickly get in front of them and throw them (it takes skill and practice to master this tho).
