I’ve only ever been in one airport lounge, it was in Barcelona. I didn’t even pay to get in I happened to be travelling to the airport with someone from my hostel who I had never met before and they got me in with them. It’s the random acts of kindness that just remind you how good people are. Sam if you’re out there Thankyou

This is SO helpful! I just got the AMEX Platinum and was so sad when I saw they restricted travel companion access to Centurion lounges. Now that you are talking about the crowding it makes sense. Luckily my high schoolers are old enough to wait at the gate alone. 😊

Great advice. I plan layovers long enough to ensure time in lounges and avoid using routes with poor lounges.

I have elite airline status and gain access this way.

When my wife and I were coming back from our Alaska cruise the Seattle airport was super busy so we went to the Alaska airline lounge. Although it cost us we were so pleased to be away from the hustle and bustle.

Flew Korean air when I went to Seoul, Singapore and Indonesia, the Korean air lounge is good! The food was excellent from the lounge we flew out of SFO, and they had a shower you could use in Seoul, (the food was amazing in Seoul also) absolutely loved it!!!

My favorite lounge is at my hometown airport MSP: PGA Golf Experience Lounge equipped with a putting green, golf course and driving range simulator with of course great food and a view of both downtown MSP and STP. Also, PP works well at this lounge.

Many of us poor grunts can't afford such luxury while on govt travels through airports. We can only hope there's a USO around. They're more than adequate to meet our undemanding needs when transitioning to our next duty station or TDY. One of my favorite USO lounge has been the one at LAX, where I'm able to get stow my bags and get some shut eyes while on a long layover.

Thank you so much for all you do, USO! It really means a lot to myself and many others. ❤

Few years ago, I was in British Airway first class lounge in Heathrow airport ( ithink it is Term 4 or Term 5). It is the best and largest I have been.

Hi Chris, just watched your 20 travel tips an realised it was 3 years ago, this is not about lounges, but ..Ive used packing cubes - but find them annoying as you cant see whats there, I have bought some Ikea drawer dividers, super light weight, and am going to "roll" my clothes into these, as I have a samsonite hard shell suitcase with the 2 sides as compartments. The side with the mesh zippered side will keep the stuff upright, and the I dont need to unpack underwear - T/shirts, shorts, all sorts, but just transfer these little boxes to the wardrobe or drawers and are all visible without having to unzip.. loved your packing tips ... thank you

After watching one of your previous videos, on my upcoming trip I want to plan my flight out of Denver to leave earlier in the day to avoid delays. Unfortunately, it seems most flights to Australia leave late at night from the west coast. If I were to have a 7 to 8 hour layover in San Francisco or LA, would it be more worth it to buy a day pass for the United Club, or go out to explore during that time? I've been to both cities before, but having never been in an airline lounge, I'm having trouble deciding.

When I travel for work I go to the delta sky clubs. When I travel alone or with family I have to sit with commoners (I’m truly a commoner) but they’re not all created equally nor is the food always good.

idk it is still there, but pre-covid, hongkong airport had arrival priority pass lounge. in my opinion, the best deal for priority pass is botejyu restaurant at osaka kansai. it is authentic japanese restaurant where food is super great and your bill get deducted 30usd. so if bill is less than 30, you pay nothing.

Hi, so if you have a chase sapphire reserve card and a priority pass card, is the food free in the lounges or do you have to pay a certain amount?
