The FIDE World Cadets and Youth Championship took place online a few weeks ago. I was nominated to judge the Gazprom Brilliancy Prize. The game was played between Nihal Sarin and Francesco Sonis of Italy. Is Nihal Sarin the next rival or opposition to the throne of Magnus Carlsen?

It could be any of these rising stars. Firouzja, praggu, adewumi, and a ton more. I love chess because your age is nearly irrelevant, it solely depends on your strength and when you lose, you have no one to blame but yourself. However, when you win, the reward is greater than any other game
