Do you want to know how to animate the algebraliens from BFDI, BFB, and TPOT? This video goes into the THREE different ways that the Algebraliens can be animated, and these styles work on any animation program!

I love how Four and X are basically the only algebrailians that are animated choppily (most of the time). Two, Eight, Nine, Six, etc. are animated so smoothly. Four and X are also the weirdest algebrailians. They alter their bodies in such weird ways.

I love it so much whenever you can connect animation or art style to the character's personality, little details like that make them stand out ! 4 and X being animated choppier and a bit unnaturally makes whenever they appear on screen to feel more special, especially when contrasted with 2, who's animated very smoothly as they're less chaotic

when you think about it, every algebralien has this quirky ring to them that manifests sooner or later. it's honestly liberating knowing there's no hard-and-fast rule to styling these guys, especially when it comes to how they're animated. thanks for this awesome tutorial, Webz! :))

these animations really describe their personalities, espeically in tpot 6, when you can see four and two side by side, four and x are animated goofier, since they came from a goofy season, while two is animated decently seriously since their season is usually the higher quality one, it's fun to look at two different animation styles next to each other, great tutorial!
