A lot of improvements from the previous version, Engine improved from 44 MPG to 49 MPG. Why would anyone bag on i at this point? Have you seen it in person? Have you ridden it? I say wait and see it in person, hear it, ride it, before you write it off. They introduced A (singular) newly redesigned/imagined motorcycle. You want it to look the same as the old one? Move forward. Nothing in the events leading up to this did they say we're changing everything in the whole line-up. Everything takes time and resources, nothing happens in big batches. The basis of the MT line-up was the 09, not the 07, or 10. You start with what you began with and work outward.

I have a 2009 Yamaha Zuma 50cc (two stroke).. I LOVE it, but it is getting old. I need a new one.. The 50cc Zuma from 2012-2019 were not nearly as good as the 2003 - 2010 50cc Zuma. I wish you would bring back the 2009 Yamaha Zuma.. I love the riding position, the ergonomics and the big fat tires. If the two stroke engine is not possible.. give it a four-stroke or electric motor.. but keep everything else the exact same as the 2009 Yamaha Zuma 50cc.. If you bring back something like that, Yamaha would have a HUGE seller.

This bike is so customisable it's silly .can put our own stamp on this for not a lot of money . gorgeous colour.more power where it has never lacked anyway so all good. Frame tank swingarm look great .tank has a good stance. This will rock a lot of worlds for good money ....take them mirrors off .new tail tidy.strsight bars .. it would look great

I love the Mt09, but the new one is soo ugly, oh my god! The look of the 2017-2020 model with the new dash, cornering abs and blipper would be my dream-bike :-)

Step in the wrong direction imo. The MT-09 looked great the way it was. You ruined it just like how Honda ruined their 2021 Grom. Bigger engine, better suspension, blah blah blah. That all is great, truly it is. The look of it though. Maybe as things around us keep advancing it will fit in but to give yamaha some credit at all, this is wayyy ahead of its time currently. 2020 looks better.
